Associate Director - Legal

Amar is an Associate Director in the Legal team at Planning & Property Partners, where he advises developers on planning, environmental, and property matters. He advises on projects through every stage of the development lifecycle, from strategic planning through to delivery, drawing on broad experience across development approvals, contract negotiation, environmental regulation and compulsory acquisition.

Amar regularly appears before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Planning Panels Victoria, and the Supreme Court of Victoria. He is known for his pragmatic and commercially minded approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver timely, considered advice. Clients value his ability to navigate complex planning and environmental issues, and his commitment to building long-term relationships that span beyond the life of a project.

Amar holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, golf and barracking for Collingwood at the MCG.
