Mekensi brings experience from multiple roles across the development sector, including statutory planning, project management, surveying and greenfield subdivision. She holds a Bachelor of Planning from James Cook University, coupled with a minor in Criminology.

Hailing from a commercial cattle property in Central Queensland, Mekensi is well versed in all things agriculture and regional development.

She made a cross-country move from Cairns in late 2023 and enjoys exploring the city in her free time.
