We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to assist us in the day to day running of the practice.

The position has a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system;
  • Organising Couriers;
  • Process mail and deliveries;
  • Assisting with Statement of Service;
  • Stationery ordering and stock control;
  • Staff amenities;
  • Organising training attendances;
  • Banking;
  • Organising external printers; and
  • Assisting the Para Legal with VCAT processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career further with full support and training provided.

Experience is MS Word and Excel is required and special consideration will be given to any DM software experience.

If you have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Be a self-starter;
  • Proactive;
  • Focused on the task at hand;
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team;
  • Have a high level of attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude (Microsoft Office) and administrative skills; and
  • Law experience preferred but not essential.

Graduate Planner / Administration Position

 

PPP are a young, fast growing and successful specialist planning firm, built on the highest professional standards and underpinned by operational excellence.

In performing the below tasks, you will be trained and supervised by the Planning Director

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Planning

  • Desktop review of planning scheme controls and development opportunities.
  • Assist in preparation of written reports and correspondence.
  • Site visits including completion of public notice requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of strategic and statutory planning advice for clients.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of VCAT processes.
  • Assist in town planning due diligence advice for site redevelopment opportunities.
  • Assist with reviewing and settling consultant reports to ensure consistency with client and project objectives.
  • Review architectural plans and associated information against planning scheme provisions and general planning principals.
  • Application of relevant planning scheme policies and procedures to all projects to ensure consistent outputs.

 

Administration

  • Coordination of team meetings;
  • Answering phone calls;
  • Assisting with the administration duties of the office
